Painting
A durable and stylish surface for the product.
The final stylish and durable surface of the product is created using the right surface and primer paints, as well as appropriate preparatory work. Arteknolla has three wet painting lines, as well as product pre-treatment facilities where products are sanded and packed before the actual priming. Our painters are among the best in their field and are also able to create various unique surfaces, such as spider web painting. Very often, products also require interference protection (EMC), in which case a copper or silver/copper coating is applied to the product’s surface. This provides plastic products with a “Faraday cage” that protects them from electromagnetic interference without the need for separate metal structures. Health technology products can also be coated with separate coatings that increase hygiene.
Painting is done either directly onto the mold (IMC) or traditionally using normal wet painting lines, in which case the products are baked after painting. In either case, the products do not need to be moved logistically anywhere, and the supply chain is fast and efficient.
