Cardboard packaging

Artekno has invested significantly in its own fiber packaging production in Kangasala. The latest state-of-the-art cardboard machine was invested in 2021. Cardboard packaging is increasingly becoming a more environmentally friendly solution for customers.

We work closely with cardboard manufacturers and can provide you with information on the latest possibilities. New solutions enable customer-oriented printing, tight sealing, and ovenability, among other things. We are able to test all our solutions in practical processes.

We offer a comprehensive range of standard-sized packaging solutions for the food market, and we can quickly and cost-effectively create customized solutions.

In addition to its own production, Artekno represents the patented HALOPACK® cardboard tray solution in Finland. It is a completely new type of packaging that combines the properties of plastic and cardboard packaging.

 

Plastic packaging

Arteknolla has its own company, Artekno Eesti Oü, which was established in 2009 to manufacture plastic packaging. We deliver our products to more than ten countries in Europe, and our logistics in Finland are supported by our own warehouse in Kangasala.

Our plastic packaging is mainly made from thermoformed polypropylene, which is as easy as possible for end users to recycle. We have a very wide range of standard products and we also produce many customer-specific solutions.

Aluminum packaging

Aluminum is the right material for many food packages. Over 60% of the aluminum used in packaging is recycled, and when recycled properly, it can be reused indefinitely.

We do not manufacture aluminum packaging ourselves, but as one of Finland’s largest purchasers of aluminum packaging, we are able to offer our customers a wide and competitive range of products. Artekno Oy represents Europe’s largest manufacturers of aluminum packaging in Finland, and we have decades of experience with various types of aluminum packaging.
