EPS

Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is an expanded, closed-cell polystyrene that is widely used in the construction industry due to its high durability and good thermal insulation. EPS is excellent for use in packaging, transportation containers and for manufacturing technical components that must withstand demanding conditions.

Typical features of the final product:

• Variable density between 18 and 100 kg/m³
• Properties change according to the density
• Functional properties over a wide temperature range, from -40 to +75 °C
• Good thermal insulation
• Excellent shock absorption
• Low water absorption
• Reusable material

A typical moulding material is aluminium.
