New capacity for large injection-moulded components
Artekno’s injection moulding capacity has expanded with two new machines with clamping forces of 750 and 1,600 tonnes. The investment enables us to manufacture larger plastic components weighing approximately 1–10 kilograms.
The new capacity serves machinery and equipment manufacturers as well as companies operating in the electronics, automotive and other technical industries. We support our customers with material selection, design for manufacturability, tooling solutions and series production planning.
New opportunities with EPP
Expanded polypropylene, or EPP, is a lightweight and durable material with excellent impact absorption properties. It is well suited for protective components, transport solutions, technical structures and products requiring low weight and good thermal insulation.
A new EPP moulding machine at our Luopioinen factory increases our production capacity and enables us to manufacture larger EPP products.
